The M1 Abrams is a third-generation main battle tank that was designed and built in the United States. It entered service in 1980 and is still used by the US Army and many other countries today. The tank is named after General Creighton Abrams, who served as Chief of Staff of the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

In Battlebit

In-game M1 Abrams has a crew of three and is equipped with a 105mm smoothbore gun, which can fire a two of ammunition types: Armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding sabot (APFSDS) rounds and high-explosive (HE) rounds. The tank also has a coaxial machine gun and a machine gun mounted on top of the turret. The tank commander has a thermal image and is able to give marks to the rest of the crew, the commander has no weapons on the tank.

Strategy

The M1 Abrams, like its RU team counterpart T90A, has different zones that, when hit, deal various amounts of damage. Hitting the rear hitbox of the tank on the image will cause 200% damage, hitting the front hitbox on the image will cause only 50% damage.
