Usage & Tips
The Desert Eagle is a powerful, but slow and difficult to control sidearm. Its enormous damage means you'll generally need only one shot to take down an opponent that's previously been damaged, and anyone with no helmet will die in just one headshot. However, its very slow rate of fire means any missed shots will be particularly punishing. While the deagle is one of the most demanding sidearms, it also has the highest potential. It's one-shot ability is a godsent in close quarters combat, allowing a skilled player to reliably dispatch of enemies without taking any damage, which would be impossible with most other pistols. That isn't to say it is not useful at range, since the deagle benefits from a rifle-like velocity, and its high base damage means it will still pack a punch even after the damage has dropped off.
Conclusion
The Desert Eagle is a harsh, but powerful weapon, which in the right hands can dismantle any opposition.
