Sniper Rifles, are a specific type of rifle designed for high-precision over long distances whilst being portable and concealable. They are exclusive to the Recon Class.
In-Game
Sniper rifles are the longest-ranged weapons on offer, and come equipped with telescopic sights by default to emphasise their niche as designed for long-range accuracy. They sport very high-damage and high velocity. However, this is often accompanied by slow aim speed, poor hipfire accuracy, and being bolt-action operated have extremely low firerates.
